Racing the Storm

Team Odyssey faces a hurricane during the 2024 USA Adventure Racing Nationals.

On September 7, 2025, Racing the Storm won a Student Production Award for Non-Fiction (Longform) from the NATAS (Ohio Valley Chapter).

The film will now be submitted to the national stage and compete for a National Student Production Award.

Racing the Storm is now an Official Selection of the 2025 Sky Arts Film Festival!

Racing the Storm is my senior thesis film, produced during the 2024-2025 school year.

This film was screened at the 2025 Moving-Image Production Senior Showcase on April 16th, 2025. After a festival run, it will be published online with the help of the United States Adventure Racing Association (USARA).

A huge thanks goes out to Team Odyssey Adventure Racing, USARA, Janet Parrott, my family and friends, and the entire Ohio State Moving-Image Production class of 2025.
